Role Summary:

As a Program Management Associate Intern, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, QA, Operations, Product, and Business, to support the execution of high-impact initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured problem-solving, clear communication, process thinking, and has a strong interest in working on tech-enabled business problems.

This is not just a coordination role. We are looking for someone who can understand how systems work, break down problems logically, document workflows clearly, and support execution with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support end-to-end tracking of projects, enhancements, integrations, and internal initiatives across teams.
  • Collaborate with external clients and internal stakeholders to gather requirements, ask the right clarifying questions, and translate business requirements into clear, structured specifications (PRDs, functional specs, API requirements, workflows) that engineering and product teams can execute on.
  • Take ownership of configuration management across clients and products, including business rules, feature flags, and system configurations. Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all configuration-related queries, supporting both internal teams (Customer Support, Operations) and external stakeholders/clients.
  • Work with Product, Engineering, QA, and business stakeholders to follow up on deliverables, dependencies, risks, and timelines.
  • Prepare and maintain clear documentation such as process notes, requirement summaries, trackers, meeting minutes, SOPs, and status updates.
  • Document technical workflows, API-level requirements, integration notes, and system/process dependencies.
  • Analyze issues, blockers, and incidents by gathering context from relevant teams and documenting findings in a structured way.
  • Break down operational problems using first-principles thinking and support teams in defining practical solutions.
  • Participate in internal reviews, project follow-ups, testing coordination, launch readiness activities, and post-launch tracking.
  • Ensure stakeholders are aligned through timely communication, follow-ups, and well-structured documentation.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to convert discussions into clear, structured notes and action items.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and the habit of thinking from first principles instead of relying only on past patterns.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets.
  • Basic understanding of APIs and how systems exchange data.
  • Basic understanding of database query languages, especially SQL and/or MongoDB.
  • Ability to work in a structured manner across multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ownership mindset.
  • Comfort working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA from reputed college.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Confluence, Notion, or similar project/documentation tools.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycle, bug tracking, testing cycles, or integrations is a plus.
  • Interest in fintech, program management, or technology-driven business environments.
