About the role

We are seeking a high-motivated Buyer to support critical procurement activities across key programs.

You will manage suppliers, execute purchase orders, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and

services required to support engineering and manufacturing. This position is ideal for someone hungry to

What you'll do

  • Own purchase order execution for production and prototype materials, tools, and equipment
  • Track order status and proactively resolve delivery, quality, and pricing issues
  • Partner with engineering and manufacturing to identify best-fit suppliers and sourcing strategies
  • Support cost reduction and supply chain optimization initiatives
  • Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with commercial terms and agreement
  • Analyze supplier and procurement data to identify risks and opportunities
  • Own and manage production work orders and downstream issue resolution with receiving, finance, and accounting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
  • 2+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
  • Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) is a plus.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and prioritize in a dynamic, deadline-driven setting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field

US Salary Range
$75,000.00 - $100,000.00

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra’s overall compensation package. In addition to base salary and equity, Forterra offers competitive benefits for full-time employees including:
