About the role
As a Drawback Account Manager at Dutywise, you’ll own client relationships end-to-end while executing hands-on drawback operations. You’ll leverage our purpose-built, AI-assisted tools to streamline workflows, reduce manual steps, and accelerate duty recovery with rigorous compliance. Partnering closely with product and engineering, you’ll help enhance our industry-leading technology and shape new features that raise the bar for the field. You’ll join a collaborative, high-impact team at a fast-growing company. You will serve as a trusted drawback expert who is core to our success - and help shape the future of drawback and trade compliance.
What You’ll Do
- Own Client Success: Manage a portfolio of clients, build trusted relationships, and develop tailored drawback strategies.
- Manage and Deliver Savings: Understand clients’ supply chains, perform data and document analysis, prepare compliant claims, and track measurable tariff savings.
- Elevate Compliance: Ensure rigorous document review and data verification standards
- Collaborate to Innovate: Partner with product and engineering to enhance our industry-leading technology and shape new features.
- Advise and Expand: Identify savings opportunities that unlock growth for companies across diverse industries.
- Lead with Expertise: Serve as a subject-matter expert and a go-to resource for both clients and teammates.
What You Bring
- At least 3 years experience managing drawback accounts end-to-end.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. Customs regulations, with specific expertise in 19 CFR § 190
- A client-focused mindset with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a passion for innovation.
- Proficiency in analyzing supply chain data (Excel required, SQL a plus)
- Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) a plus, but not required
- Expertise with some (or all) of the following drawback provisions: 1313(j)(1), 1313(j)(2), 1313(a), 1313(b)
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to drawback questions from team members, CBP, clients, and prospective customers.

Compensation & Benefits
At Dutywise, we believe in rewarding our team with competitive and comprehensive packages:
- Compensation: $75,000 – $125,000 is the base salary for this role. The compensation for this role consists of a competitive base salary, benefits, bonus and equity package.
- Benefits: We offer Unlimited Paid Time Off & Sick Leave, Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, and a Public Transit & Parking Benefit.
